Warnings
I was warned.
I was warned that as I got older time would go so much faster.
I was warned to appreciate every day because they were going to get shorter.
I was warned that time was going to make me it's bitch.
I was warned.
BUT.....
Yes it's the BUT, no one warned me that years would seem like a few weeks!
For example my son graduated from high school in 2016 and left home in 2017...It just occurred to me a few days ago that was over three years ago. But in my head he only left home a couple of months ago. I am still shocked I'm not picking up his garbage from all over the house when I head for bed.
It seems like Rachel JUST finished school herself, BUT she has been out for going on two years. How is that possible?
While I'm grateful that I don't have two kids running my over 50 body down cleaning up after them, I'm in shock that haven't been at home so long. Shouldn't I have more done around here?
I should, shouldn't I?
We have a nearly 3 year old granddaughter, who when I look at her I think "Rachel was this age just a moment ago." No she wasn't, she was 17 when her niece was born. How did that happen?
Well. I was warned.
