Story time
In my sad attempts to do some creative writing, here is a line or two....
In the far off land of Phoenix Arizona there lived a woman of noble intent and much too trusting. No matter what, she seemed to trust too much.
Family would beg for help, for money, for time; she would open her doors to them and let them in. She would hand over all she had and more to help them. And when the money and resources would run out the "family" would run away. Not unlike cockroaches in a dirty kitchen when you turned the light on.
After a few years this noble woman became ill.
Even though her family knew she was ill, no one came to help. No one offered her money for expensive medical treatments, or medicine.
No one bothered to come over and help clean her home, or cook her some meals in advance to help out. Not one family member offered to do laundry, go to the store, or take her to the doctor.
She had one friend who would come and help as much as she could, but had family obligations that kept her from helping more. But this friend would worry and worry about the noble woman. (As family and friends do.)
The noble woman, who was getting sicker by the day ended up having a person, who her friend hated, (because he used her like her family did) move in with her, because she could no longer drive, and take good care of herself.
The noble woman's family got so bad, that when she ran into one they would ignore her and hide. Because the noble woman could no longer help THEM.
Even her friend found that the noble woman's family would hide from HER!
Her friend stewed on this problem. How could she help her friend or at least get some satisfaction by making her family pay....?
Finally one night it occurred to the friend what to do....
