Work Harder

There is a vlogger I like by the name of Casey Niestat.  I love people who dig themselves out of a hole and win!  Casey is a prime example of this; he started his adult life as a high school drop out teenage father who worked like a crazy to take care of his son, and even when the boy's mother and he broke up he beat the odds and moved to New York; where he worked like a dog to learn all he could to be a film maker.

BTW he did that and STILL was a good father to his son.

And guess what?  That is what he does!  Is not a life that he would recommend for everyone, but he did it by just reminding himself to not just work, but "work harder".

I like that.

I know how to work, and I do, but I think I need to work harder.   So I think that is my New Year Resolution.  I want to feel better.  I need to keep taking my vitamins, work on making my back feel better.

I want to find Rachel a safe happy place, like Glen got.  There is a few meetings right there.

I want to get my home in better shape.  That means to organize and save up for home improvements.

I want to finish paying off debts.  Well I can do that.  Done if before, will do it again.

I want to spend more time with my son.  I'm going to start taking him out a few Sundays during the year.  I miss his silly face.  (But I'm happy he is in a good place.

I want to be a good grandmother it my faux grandkids.  Madison, Robert and Buddy.  I don't think I can be as good as Mary Rachel, but I'm sure going to try.

I want to be worthy of the fine life my lovely husband has given me.

For all this, I plan to work harder.
